Meghan’s Friend Shares Poignant Photo of Archie on His Fourth Birthday After Royal Family Also Snubbed Important Event

People are talking about the photo one of Meghan and Harry’s good friends shared on Archie’s fourth birthday.

Friend, Misan Harriman, is a well-known photographer, someone who has taken almost all of the rare photos of Archie and Lilibet that have been made available to the public. Harriman took to Instagram on May 6 to share his birthday wishes to Archie.

He shared a photo of Archie as a baby, reaching out toward a photo of his late grandmother, Princess Diana.

“Wishing you the happiest of birthdays Archie,” Misan wrote along with a red heart emoji. People seem to think the image, which was also seen in a recent documentary starring Harry and Meghan, was quite poignant for a few reasons. One, it’s an extremely touching photo. Two, Archie’s birthday was overshadowed by his grandfather’s coronation.

As Mamas Uncut previously reported, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle invited members of the Royal Family to their daughter Lilibet‘s christening in March. But it was revealed neither King Charles, Queen Camilla, Prince William, nor Prince Kate attended.

According to People‘s source, around 20-30 people attended the christening, including Markle’s mother Doria Ragland, Lilibet’s godfather, Tyler Perry, and an unnamed godmother.

“I can confirm that Princess Lilibet Diana was christened on Friday, March 3 by the Archbishop of Los Angeles, the Rev John Taylor,” a spokesperson of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex shared.

Following the death of Queen Elizabeth II in September, Charles became King. The monarch afforded both Archie, 3, and Lilibet, 1, the titles of prince and princess. According to People, this occurred due to rules set out by King George V in 1917.

The royal snub follows Prince Harry speaking about wanting his children to have a meaningful relationship with members of his family in January.

“I’ve said before that I’ve wanted a family, not an institution—so of course, I would love nothing more than for our children to have relationships with members of my family, and they do with some, which brings me great joy,” Harry shared at the time.

Unfortunately, Harry has expressed his doubts about his children and their relationship with the royal family.

In a virtual event for his blockbuster memoir, Spare, the Duke revealed that he is “feeling more and more distant” from his family in the UK.

Those comments were made just days after King Charles evicted Meghan and Harry from Frogmore Cottage, their home in Windsor, England, that Harry spent millions of his own money renovating.

The move to boot the couple from Frogmore reportedly resulted from Charles giving the residence to his disgraced brother, Prince Andrew, who has been linked to criminal, Jeffrey Epstein.

Regarding royal invitations, King Charles has invited Harry and Meghan to his coronation, which is set for May 6. While the invitation to the ceremony has been publicized, a spokesperson for the couple said “an immediate decision” on whether they’ll attend will “not be disclosed” at this time.
