Meghan Markle and Prince Harry introduced their 1-year-old son Archie to the world via their special holiday podcast. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex encouraged little Archie to wish the audience a happy new year at the end of the episode.
The couple introduced the first podcast episode from their Spotify Archewell Audio company. According to the Sussexes, the special featured a “a special collection of inspiration, reflection, and perspective” from “people that inspire us [and] people that we admire.”

Guests included Sir Elton John, Deepak Chopra, tennis player Naomi Osaka, chef José Andrés, author Matt Haig, Tyler Perry, Brené Brown, and activist Stacey Abrams.
“We asked them to record audio diaries and send them back to us,” shared Harry. “We were curious to hear what they’d reflect on when they had a moment to themselves without navigating the sometimes awkward dance of a video chat. Meaning, no one having to say, ‘You’re on mute,’ over and over again, which is probably one of the defining phrases of 2020.”
The couple have understandably been highly protective of their son’s privacy, going so far as to file a lawsuit against a paparazzi photo agency that took pictures, via drone, of Archie at their home.
We can’t wait to hear more from the family in 2021!
