Ariel Friedler is an active investor and successful entrepreneur. Ariel has a passion for inventing and applying innovative technologies in areas that engage and connect users, enhance processes and maximize productivity. Ariel actively invests in and advises technology companies like Mama’s Uncut.
While attending Northwestern University on a scholarship, Ariel started his first business, Symplicity Corporation, from his dorm room in 1996.

Symplicity quickly became the largest college career recruitment platforms in the world.  Under Ariel’s stewardship, Symplicity grew to provide solutions to dozens of departments at college campuses and federal agencies and have helped more than 41 million students, staff, employers, and government constituents worldwide.

In the summer of 2016, Ariel sold Symplicity to H.I.G. Capital, a leading global private equity investment firm with more than $20 billion of equity capital under management.

In addition to graduating from Northwestern, where he served as the President of the Student Government, Ariel Friedler also holds a law degree from Georgetown Law and is a member of the Florida Bar. He lives in Miami with his wife and daughter.
