Since announcing she and her husband Justin Ervin are expecting their first child together, model Ashley Graham has been all about her unborn baby.
From baby bump photo after baby bump photo to showing off her stretch marks, and revealing her cravings, it’s easy to see how excited Graham is to become a mom.
And just recently, the mom-to-be shared the gender of her unborn child while a guest on The Ellen Degeneres Show. During a game of rapid-fire questions, Ellen started asking a series of questions that Graham had to answer as quickly as possible.
And it was Ellen’s very last question that had Graham screaming “I’m having a BOY! I’m going to be a mommy to a boy!” Now people are questioning if Graham really wanted to share the fact that she and Ervin are having a boy after Ellen wrote on Instagram, “Did I just trick Ashley Graham into telling me the gender of her baby?!”
Graham and Ervin first announced that they were expecting their first child together on their nine-year wedding anniversary on August 14.
“Nine years ago today, I married the love of my life. It has been the best journey with my favorite person in the world! Today, we are feeling so blessed, grateful and excited to celebrate with our GROWING FAMILY! Happy anniversary, Justin Ervin ❤️ Life is about to get even better.”
Then less than a month after sharing their big news with the world, the supermodel stepped onto the runway, baby bump and all to model the Tommy Hilfiger x Zendaya line during New York Fashion Week.
She wrote, “I am so grateful and proud to have been a part of such an incredible show. Thank you for honoring the importance of inclusion by representing so many different women on your runway and showing that beauty comes in many forms. I could have never imagined the feeling of walking a runway pregnant, it was truly an honor for us to be there!”
Graham has been very open and honest about her pregnancy journey thus far. And has kept it fairly light, especially when she struggled to find workout pants that stretchrd over her belly.
However, the model has also received some unnecessary backlash from some of her social media followers. Backlash that the model didn’t let just fall through the cracks.
As People reports, after receiving a comment from a person that said, “I can tell sis probably struggled to have this baby…” Graham responded in a way that showed that type of kindness she’s passing on to her baby boy.
“Saw your other ‘pressed AF’ comment. Not sure why you are commenting or following if you are just going to hate. Love you sis and hope you find some peace & positivity.”

However, while the public now knows Graham and Ervin are having a son, it is still unclear when exactly she’s due. Although some reports say she’s due in January, only time will tell.
