Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis are responding to all the noise after they spoke about how they choose to clean their children.
As Mamas Uncut previously reported, Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis revealed that they don’t bathe their kids every single day while guests on Dax Shepard’s podcast, Armchair Expert. “I didn’t have hot water growing up as a child, so I didn’t shower much anyway,” Kunis explained.

“But when I had children, I also didn’t wash them every day,” Kunis continued. “I wasn’t that parent that bathed my newborns — ever.”
And that’s when Kunis, who is a mom of two, revealed her philosophy on bathing her kids. “Here’s the thing: If you can see the dirt on them, clean them. Otherwise, there’s no point.”
Shepard and Bell agreed, saying that while they used to bathe their kids every night, something eventually changed. “Somehow they just started going to sleep on their own without the routine, and by George, we had to start saying, ‘Hey, when’s the last time you bathed them?’”
Bell agreed, adding, “Yeah, we forget.” “Sometimes five, six days goes along. I mean, they don’t smell,” Dax added.
“Well, they do sometimes,” Bell chimed in saying. “I’m a big fan of waiting for the stink. Once you catch a whiff, that’s biology’s way of letting you know you need to clean it up.”
Now, Kunis and Kutcher are responding to the response their podcast interview incited. While some parents out there agree with Kunis, Kutcher, Bell, and Shepard, others do not. And it’s created quite the discussion.

The video starts off with Kunis laughing because she knows what is coming. Kunis reveals that they are in fact bathing their kids, and Kutcher adds that it’s the fourth time this week.
“You’re putting water on the child? Are you trying to melt them,” Kutcher jokes as Kunis chuckles in the background. “Their body oils are going to be destroyed! What are you trying to do?
As Ashton Kutcher admitted in the caption, “This bathing thing is out of hand.” And we have to agree!
