Audrey Roloff is back on social media with one lengthy explanation.
Roloff recently shared how her break from social media was to work on her marriage but fans aren’t exactly happy with that explanation.
Audrey just recently took time off from social media. Before heading out, she wrote: “I’m taking a social media break for a while???????? Every time I’ve taken an extended social media break it’s been so healthy and life-giving. I’m excited to come back more inspired refreshed???? If Instagram had away messages like AIM back in the day (90’s kid here????) this would be mine…’Write something worth reading, or do something worth writing about.'”
She briefly jumped back on to wish husband Jeremy Roloff a happy Father’s Day, and since then, she’s been back to posting as usual. Initially, she did not explain why she decided to take time off, but it’s something she’s done before.
But this week, she decided to explain why exactly she’s been MIA on her Instagram Stories.

As she explained on Instagram earlier this week, it wasn’t just a break from social media, either — it was a break from everything she’d consider work so her family would be all that she was focused on, and Jeremy took the same time off too. She called it “extremely refreshing and freeing.”
“We got to spend a lot of time together as a family,” she said, adding how it is something they’d always planned to do in their seventh year of marriage.
Fans seem to believe Audrey isn’t acknowledging her privilege.
“If you can take a month-long break from work without feeling any [repercussions] from doing so then you are very privileged. I doubt most people would be able to do that without being affected in one [way] or another,” shared one commenter.
While another said: “And you’re back… it’s lovely everything you write.. he’s a husband, he’s a dad, he’s your partner, these are the attributes most husbands/fathers do and have… he should impress you, you married him for reason & are with him for a reason.. but why continue to tell, remind us & post about it…you don’t need these posts to prove it!”
This criticism follows Audrey’s recent pregnancy announcement. The couple is expecting their third child in November, who will join older sister and brother Ember, 3, and Bode, 1.
