‘The Hills’ Star Audrina Patridge Mourns the Loss of Her 15-Year-Old Niece; Cause of Death Hasn’t Been Revealed

Audrina Patridge, who rose to prominence in The Hills for six seasons between 2006 and 2010, recently revealed that her 15-year-old niece, Sadie Loza, passed away. The teenage girl was born in 2008 and is the daughter of Casey Loza – Audrina’s sister – and Aaron Hershman, who Casey previously dated.

Audrina took to Instagram on Tuesday to pay tribute to her late niece. “I know it’s not goodbye forever, but it is the hardest to say goodbye for now. We will miss you and cherish every single moment we had with you. Rest in peace, Say Say!! We love you forever & ever!” she wrote, adding it ‘hurts to even write this.’

The comments section was overflowing with love, prayers, and condolences for Audrina and her family – including comments from Brody Jenner, Rachel Bilson, Paris Hilton, Ashley Greene Khoury, Kaitlyn Bristowe, Selma Blair, Nicky Hilton, Christa Allen, Kandee Johnson, Becca Tilley, and many more.

Casey Loza also took to Instagram to share the heartbreaking news of her daughter’s passing – like Audrina Patridge, she expressed how difficult it was to write the caption, calling it the ‘hardest thing I have ever had to do.’ She was having a hard time finding the right words to say, which is understandable.

“Sadie liked to remind me that the first law of thermodynamics aka (Law of Conservation of Energy) works in all spheres of life,” wrote Casey in the caption. “Transformation is a better word than death. Her story will save countless lives. Her memory will never be forgotten. Rest In Peace, you brilliant starseed.”

Sadie’s stepfather, Kyle Loza, added a tribute post of his own on Wednesday. “I will carry your memory with me until I see you again. I can’t stop thinking about you. I’ll never stop loving you, and I would do anything to laugh with you one more time. You were my first Love,” he wrote, signing the caption as ‘Dad.’

Kyle, who is a freestyle motocross rider and musician, married Casey in 2009 – the year after Sadie was born. One year later, the couple started a family of their own – a soon-to-be 13-year-old son named Draven, who was born in April 2010. They also have a 4-year-old son named Vallon, who was born in October 2018.

Audrina Patridge Has a Daughter of Her Own

Did you know Audrina Patridge has a daughter of her own? She gave birth to her six-year-old daughter, named Kirra Max, on June 24, 2016 – just a few months before she tied the knot with motorcycle and BMX rider Cory Bohan. The two started dating in 2008 and were together for eight years before marrying.

Unfortunately, the marriage didn’t last long. Roughly one year after tying the knot, Patridge filed a restraining order against Bohan and filed for divorce – citing abuse and violence. The divorce was finalized in December 2018, giving Patridge some peace of mind over the safety of herself and her daughter.

Patridge hasn’t been involved in many big projects since her time on The Hills. She was a contestant on Season 11 of Dancing With the Stars and made it to the sixth week when she was eliminated – she finished in seventh place with her dance partner, Tony Dovolani.

Our hearts go out to Audrina Patridge and her family over their most recent loss. Sadie’s death comes just a week after she celebrated her 15th birthday. A cause of death hasn’t been revealed, but it’s a tragedy either way. It’s just another reminder to hold those you love as close as possible.
