These dogs originated in Mexico and they descend from an ancient breed that the Toltecs in Mexico bred as lap dogs as early as the 9th century CE. Relative to their bodies, Chihuahuas have the biggest brain in the dog world which likely makes them have such “saucy” personalities.

Isn’t his apple-shaped head everything? It’s one of the hallmarks of the breed but not the only one. Chihuahuas also have deer-shaped heads which are narrower than their apple-headed counterparts. Eva

This is Eva. The second baby Chihuahua we found in a pink gown. This frock looks like it could use some tailoring as Eva is a bit too small for it. Still, though, Eva looks like she’s ready to be the belle of the ball at whatever party she’s heading to. She looks absolutely precious, and she’s definitely a looker.

Surreal

These newborn baby Chihuahuas look so tiny and cute that it’s hard to believe they are real. Chihuahuas are clannish and prefer the company of other dogs from the same breed. We hope these three get to stay friends for life! We can’t help but think about how adorable these three are gonna be when they grow up as best friends.

In addition to the distinct shapes of their heads, baby Chihuahuas also come in two signature coats: long or short and smooth. Mocha looks comfy and cozy and we can see that she’s already about to start counting sheep, or maybe even chasing them for herself.

This sweetie is serving you cuteness overload. What did we do to deserve Chihuahua puppies? This little cutie is all cozy in her bed surrounded by toys. It’s definitely a pretty sweet place for a baby Chihuahua to spend its time. We honestly can’t say that we wouldn’t enjoy the same if we had the chance. This is so adorable!

On a Journey

According to the person who shared this adorable image, this baby chihuahua is about to embark on its first plane ride, a journey to his new home. He looks a little nervous but weren’t we all for our first plane ride. We hope that his ride goes as smoothly as possible and that he settles with his new family soon.
