As 3-month-old Brandon Cuellar was laying in his blanket-covered car seat, he was wearing a white, long sleeve onesie that had dinosaurs on it. His grandmother had left him sleeping in the car seat as she took groceries from her car into her home. She had no idea that he would be kidnapped from inside her home.
You see, according to reports, the grandmother did everything right. Before unloading her vehicle of groceries, she brought the baby boy inside.

However, it was in those mere two minutes that passed, tragedy stuck the Cuellar family. As surveillance footage shows, while the grandmother took the groceries from her car into her home, a man approached.
And without ever being detected, he slid inside the California home, grabbed the car seat and the baby, and walked out. The family told the authorities that they don’t recognize the man from the video.
The suspect has been described as a “dark-complected Hispanic man,” who was wearing dark pants, a dark blue shirt, a gray baseball hat, and a black face mask. He is known to have short hair and was wearing grey shoes with white trim. Police are now asking anyone with any information about who this man may be to come forward.
San José Police Media Relations took to Twitter to share a phone number. “Please call our detectives who are actively working this case: 408-277-4166. Or 911 if you’ve seen the suspect or the baby.”
They also tweeted the scary surveillance footage of the man kidnapping the infant. This particular video shows the man calmly walking down the sidewalk while holding the blanket-covered car seat.
“At this time Officers and agents with the FBI are going door to door in the area of Elm St and surrounding streets in an effort to locate witnesses or any other info related to this case,” the media relations team shared on Twitter. “A big thank you to our federal partners assisting with this investigation.”
