Just weeks ago, Jade Roper-Tolbert welcomed her second child in an unconventional location: she gave birth in her closet at home. She and her husband, Tanner Tolbert, welcomed baby Brooks on July 29 at 10:31 p.m. after a very quick labor. The baby arrived much more quickly than they anticipated, leaving no time to make it to the hospital, so The Bachelor star had to make do in her closet. Luckily, both mom and baby are happy and healthy after the dramatic birth.
Jade recently shared pictures and videos on Instagram from the moments just following the birth. The pictures include one shot of Jade holding her newborn son on the floor of her closet immediately following birth, and the other shows her and the baby in a hospital bed with Tanner. (The paramedic who helped them deliver the baby can be seen standing nearby.)

She also shared two emotional videos taken right after the birth on Instagram. In one, you can hear Tanner saying, “You did it!” in the background. “He’s okay?,” Jade responds emotionally. “He’s good, that was fast,” Tanner responds.
“My biggest gratitude to Tanner, my mom, my mother-in-law, Laguna Beach OBGYN and Midwifery, the nurses at Mission Hospital and of course the Orange County Fire Authority Paramedics who all helped me through this labor, delivery and recovery,” she added to the caption.
Jade posted the pics and video of the birth on her Instagram account, letting fans know she recently shared details of her birth story on her podcast, “Mommies Tell All,” which she co-hosts with Bachelor alum Carly Waddell.
We hope the Tolberts are doing well with their new baby, dramatic birth and all. He’s here, he’s healthy, and that’s what matters.
