Ben Affleck honored ex-wife Jennifer Garner on Mother’s Day this year. The superstar parents share three children: daughters Violet, 15, Seraphina, 12, and son Sam, 9.
In a sweet gallery-style post on Instagram the Batman actor shared rare photos of his children all being doted on by their mother.

“So happy to share these kids with you,” Ben Affleck captioned the post. “Luckiest parents in the world. Thanks for all the good you do. Happy Mother’s Day. Love, their Dad.”
The throwback pictures showcase a mother’s love as Jennifer Garner is seen interacting with her kids at different ages. Our personal favorite photo shows the Wizard of Oz-themed Halloween costumes the family wore including Affleck as Tinman and Garner as Glenda, the Good Witch.
Speaking to People last year, Ben Affleck opened up about co-parenting with Garner. He revealed that although they have split, they remain united in raising their three kids.
“When you have children with somebody you’re connected to them forever,” the actor explained. “And I’m very lucky she is the mother of my children.”
“I’m very grateful and respectful of her,” he told People of Garner. “Our marriage didn’t work, and that’s difficult. Both of us really believe that it’s important for kids to see their parents respect one another and get along, whether they’re together or not.”
He also emphasized the importance of showing his children the respect he has for his ex-wife.
“It’s important for my kids to know that I respect and care about Jen and she treats me the same way,” he explained to the outlet. “I have a lot of respect and gratitude toward her. And I wish her the very best.”
Affleck and Garner had been married for ten years. After marrying in 2005, they ultimately split in 2015. The divorce was finalized in 2018.
We are thrilled to learn that those weren’t just pretty words from Affleck and that he is continuing to put in the work to show respect to the mother of his three children.
