Betty White’s Agent Shares One of the Last Photos Taken of the Actress on Her 100th Birthday

In celebration of Betty White’s 100th birthday, her longtime assistant and good friend, Kiersten Mikelas shared a photo of White. As it turns out, it was one of the last photos taken of White before her sudden passing on December 31, 2021.

Mikelas took to White’s official Facebook page to share a photo of Betty who was wearing a big smile and a gorgeous green ensemble paired with white pants. As Mikelas revealed in the caption, the photo was taken just 11 days before White passed away.

“Hello Everyone! It’s Kiersten. Betty’s Assistant. On this special day, I wanted to share this photo of Betty. It was taken on 12/20/21. I believe it’s one of the last photos of her,” the assistant wrote.

“She was radiant and beautiful and as happy as ever. Thanks to all of you who are doing kind things today and every day to make the world a better place.”

As you may have seen yesterday on social media, people were donating money to several animal rescues and charities in honor of Betty White. White as a devote animal rights activist!

This photo was also snapped before White suffered a mild stroke six days before her passing. As Mamas Uncut previously reported, after Betty White’s death certificate was made public, it was revealed that just six days before her passing Betty struggled with some health issues.

According to TMZ, a source revealed that the actress suffered a stroke. The source shared that White was both alert and coherent after suffering the stroke, but died in her sleep six days after.

Another source told People that the stroke was “mild” and re-confirmed that White was asleep when she passed on. It’s unclear how the stroke affected Betty, if at all, during the six days she survived.

In an additional interview with People, Mikelas responded to those taking part in the “Betty White Challenge.” She admitted that White would have been so touched by all the goodness happening in her honor.

“She would be so touched to see and hear that people were honoring her by donating to local groups who work so hard to rescue and rehabilitate animals. I can’t think of a better tribute.” And White’s longtime agent Jeff Witjas agreed.

“The outpouring of love, the amazing amount of donations being given to all types of animal organizations is such a tribute to how Betty lived her life. As Betty would say, ‘Thank you from the bottom of my heart.’”
