Bhad Bhabie sent her followers in a frenzy with her latest social media post.
The 21-year-old, who went viral with her “Cash me outside, how ’bout that?” phrase during a 2016 episode of “Dr. Phil,” took to her Instagram Stories on Nov. 7 to respond to online trolls who have commented /on/ her recent weight loss.
“I’m sorry my cancer medicine made me loose [sic] weight,” she wrote in the postStory.
“I’m slowly gaining it back. So stop running (with) the worst narratives,” she added.
Many fans were confused about the post after the rapper failed to share more details about her health struggles. Now, a family source has confirmed her statement with TMZ on Nov. 8.
“Bhad Bhabie does have cancer. She’s currently under the care of a doctor,” said the source.
It’s unclear what type of cancer she has, how severe it is, and what medication she’s currently on.
The “Gucci Flip Flops” artist debuted a slimmer look last month in photos posted to her Instagram account, which caught the eye of fans and critics alike.
The body shaming comments came quickly and often.
But once the cancer diagnosis was announced, fans flooded her comments with words of support.
“Bhad Bhabie’s strength shines through as she shares her diagnosis. Wishing her resilience and support on this journey,” said one commenter.
Other users sent prayers to Bhad Bhabie’s newborn daughter, Kali Love.
“Wtffff omg doesn’t she have an infant child? Praying for Bhad Bhabie, may she fully recover,” one user wrote.
Bhad Bhabie announced she was pregnant in December and revealed the sex of the baby in a creative gender reveal photoshoot with Marc Jacobs.
The former “Bringing Up Bhabie” star showed off her pregnant belly while sitting on a motorcycle with pink fumes coming out of the exhaust pipe.
She and her boyfriend, Le Vaughn, welcomed the baby girl, Kali Love, in March.
