Bindi Irwin is honoring her mother and late father by recreating a sweet moment for a maternity photo op!
On January 14, Bindi shared a sweet photo with her husband Chandler Powell kissing her pregnant stomach via Instagram.
The second picture revealed her parents, mom Terri Irwin and late father, Steve Irwin, in the same pose.
At the time, Terri was pregnant with Bindi’s younger brother Robert Irwin, who is now 17.
“Recreating a very special moment,” Bindi captioned the post. “Third trimester love.”

Bindi, who has also a conservationist like her parents, married her longtime partner Chandler in March 2020. They wed in a private ceremony at the Australia Zoo, which is also where they first got engaged.
“We held a small ceremony and I married my best friend. There are no words to describe the amount of love and light in my heart right now,” Bindi wrote on Instagram of the pair’s COVID-19 safe nuptials.
“We wish all of our friends and family could have been there with us, however it’s lovely that we will be able to share photos and videos. Right now we’re encouraging the world to hold onto hope and love, which will carry us forward during this profound time in history.”

In August of 2020, Bindi announced how she and Chandler were expecting their first baby.
“Though I’m still in my first trimester, we really want you to be part of our journey from the beginning of this new life chapter,” she shared on Instagram at the time.
“We couldn’t wait to share the news as this beautiful little being has become the most important part of our lives. Your support means the world to us.”
