With the kids’ seat belts still on, and the vehicle seemingly in park, there is not much to complain about when it comes to this particular photo; or that’s what some may think. Sadly, some commenters did find things to make rude comments about, mainly Green’s sons’ hair.

“There’s something not right when they all look/dress like girls,” one commenter wrote, while others came to his and his children’s defense. “Why are people so obsessed with their hair? They are little kids. Leave them alone.”

And as Green would later come to admit in a comment of his own, he read some of the opinions people were leaving under the photograph. He then replied to those who had an issue with his boys’ hairstyles.

“I’ve read some of the comments here. I’m not saying anything is right or wrong. I think some people with different opinions are attacked because opinions usually start with the words ‘I think’ or something similar. When people state opinions as facts, [it’s] when arguments happen. The fact is my boys have and like long hair. In my opinion, they are beautiful and will still be, and possibly be mistaken for girls, if they wore matching short and t-shirt combos and had short hair. Some people like boys and men with long hair. Some people don’t. Both opinions are ok.”

The backlash comes several weeks after Green and the mother of his children, Megan Fox announced that they were separating after 10 years of marriage. While it is unclear if Green has moved on, Fox has with actor and rapper, Machine Gun Kelly.

Great day!! :))

In fact, Green’s ex Vanessa Marcil, whom he shares a son with, has come out in support of the way Fox has moved on during an Instagram Q&A. “I actually have respect for how Megan Fox is finally living her life for herself and leaving her children out of her public life at this young age,” Marcil wrote, according to Fox News.

“I used to hide Kass from the public when he was young and never once spoke about our court case to Kass or publicly until Kass was grown and insisted I stop lying to protect. Megan finally living her life for herself is in itself a gift to her children,” Marcil continued. Brian Austin Green and Megan Fox’s impending divorce has not been made final yet.
