After traveling out of the state of California, Britney Spears didn’t her two sons, who have been quarantining with their father Kevin Federline, for two weeks after. After coming to an agreement with Federline, Spears had to do a two-week self-quarantine so she could see her boys for the first time in weeks.
Federline’s insistence that the singer quarantine before seeing their sons comes after she made a trip down to Louisiana to see her family members who still live down there. According to TMZ, a source explained that when she got back to Los Angeles from her trip she asked Federline to bring their kids over.

However, the protective father reportedly told Spears that it would be in their sons’ best interests if she quarantined herself first to make sure she didn’t contract COVID-19 during her travels. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, Louisiana has seen over 38,000 cases and more than 2,000 deaths.
While the is more than the majority of other states in the US, it’s significantly less than California, which has seen 96,000 cases and more than 3,800 deaths. Nonetheless, the mom of two agreed to Federline’s request that she self-quarantine.
TMZ reported that Spears has since completed her quarantine, which she began towards the end of April and has since seen her children twice, if only for a few hours. Federline, who had the majority custody over their boy, has also been the one responsible for homeschooling Sean and Jayden.
And as Spears’ Instagram account has revealed she’s been quarantining with her boyfriend Sam Asghari.
And thankfully, the arrangement is seemingly working out just fine for both Federline and Spears, who according to the source, has had “no issues obliging Federline’s requests” during this unique and unprecedented time. And as a result, many, according to Fatherly, are now looking at the former couple as co-parenting “role models.”
