Brittany Mahomes, the wife of Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes, is enjoying her time with her family during the NFL offseason. On Wednesday, she posted a couple of photos of her, Patrick, and their 2-year-old daughter while at the Indian Wells Masters tennis tournament in Indian Wells, CA.
While her Instagram Story showed some of the fun they were having – including one Story where her daughter, Sterling Skye, was goofing around with her oversized sunglasses – Brittany admitted in her Instagram caption that it might not have been the ‘brightest idea’ to bring a 2-year-old to a tennis match.
“Brought a toddler to a Professional Tennis Match today, not the brightest idea,” she wrote alongside the two photos. Some of the comments joked that the ‘toddler’ she was referring to was actually Patrick, while others felt her pain – one commenter admitted that ‘taking a toddler anywhere has the same effect.’

Patrick Mahomes and Brittany Mahomes were high school sweethearts that continued to date throughout their college careers. Patrick played football at Texas Tech before being drafted by the Kansas City Chiefs, while Brittany played soccer at UT Tyler and had a brief professional soccer career in Iceland.
On September 20, 2020, Patrick finally proposed to the love of his life in a suite at Arrowhead Stadium – where he plays his home games. Exactly five months later, the couple, who were not yet married, gave birth to their first child – a daughter named Sterling Skye. She turned two years old just a few weeks ago.
Their love for one another continued to grow in 2022 when they tied the knot on March 12, 2022, in Maui, Hawaii. In a Q&A on social media, she said the couple chose Maui for a variety of reasons – for example, it was where they took their first vacation together, the weather is perfect, and the views are spectacular.
Their love wasn’t the only thing that grew in 2022 – so did their family! On November 28, 2022, the couple welcomed their first son – Patrick “Bronze” Lavon – into this world. We’ll have to see if his son follows in his father’s and grandfather’s footsteps as a professional athlete – Patrick’s father was an MLB pitcher.
Patrick and Brittany Mahomes Have Been Busy
It hasn’t even been a full month since Brittany Mahomes celebrated her husband’s second Super Bowl victory – and second MVP win – with the Kansas City Chiefs. Brittany and Sterling were on the field to give Patrick kisses after the game and have been spending a lot of time together during the offseason.
On February 13, the day after the Super Bowl, the family – including Bronze – took a trip to Disneyland to enjoy ‘The Happiest Place on Earth.’ A few days later, the couple – without the children – were spotted at the Chiefs’ championship parade, which took place in Kansas City on February 15, and it was wild!
The fun continued on February 20 when they celebrated Sterling’s second birthday with a bounce house and a donut-themed cake – which I didn’t even know existed, but now I want one. She posted several family photos two days later – “Thanking God everyday for these 3????” Brittany wrote in the caption.
