It’s been several weeks since legendary actor Bruce Willis announced his retirement. In his announcement, Willis shared that he was recently diagnosed with aphasia.

In the initial statement, Bruce Willis and his family said, “To Bruce’s amazing supporters, as a family, we wanted to share that our beloved Bruce has been experiencing some health issues and has recently been diagnosed with aphasia, which is impacting his cognitive abilities.”

Several supports suggested that the aphasia had hindered Willis’s ability to give his best performances and “as a result of this and with much consideration, Bruce is stepping away from the career that has meant so much to him,” his statement added.

Following his statement, it was unclear if his fans would get a look into his life as a full-time husband and father of five. And now fans are getting that personal look.

Via his wife, Emma Heming Willis’s Instagram account, fans are getting to see what Bruce has been doing over the last couple of months. And we can say this, it looks like a lot of fun!

In the video shared on Emma’s page, fans got to see Bruce interacting with one of the two daughters they share. In the video, Bruce is seen making his daughter laugh with some of his best dance moves.

“Bringing that weekend in strong,” the caption reads while many thanked Emma for sharing the heartwarming moment with them. “Thank you for sharing videos of Bruce. I am sure all the fans throughout the globe love to see him smile and have fun. Beautiful family,” one commenter said.

“Glad to see Bruce up and active. God bless you and your family,” another commenter added.

Earlier this month, Emma also shared a video of Bruce standing atop Nakatomi Plaza 34 years after one of his most successful movies was first released. Hey Diehard fans, we bet this has you feeling nostalgic.

According to the Mayo Clinic, aphasia can affect a person’s ability to speak, write, and understand language, both verbal and written. Typically, the condition is brought on by a head injury or after a stroke but it can also accompany a variety of degenerative diseases.

Emma briefly opened up about how she was affected while speaking with The Bump. “I put my family’s needs above my own, which I found does not make me any kind of hero,” Emma admitted.
