Bruce Willis and Emma Heming Willis are spending some time “off the grid” according to a new social media post shared Wednesday.
The latest photo of the couple together was taken by the couple’s 10-year-old daughter Mabel Ray Willis.

“Mom & Dad in their favorite habitat,” the caption for the photo reads along with the hashtag “#offthegrid.”
The image finds the couple sitting on a tree trunk gazing into one another’s eyes. Emma, 43, credited the photo as well as another similar one to Mabel. The post comes just days after Demi Moore, Bruce’s ex, revealed that the Die Hard actor would be stepping away from his acting career due to a medical condition.
Seven days ago, Moore said that her ex-husband would be retiring following a diagnosis with aphasia.
Aphasia is a condition that robs a person of the ability to communicate, according to the Mayo Clinic. It can affect a person’s ability to speak, write, and understand language, both verbal and written. Typically, the condition is brought on by a head injury or after a stroke but it can also accompany a variety of degenerative diseases.
Emma thanked her followers for their support shortly after the announcement in a post on her Instagram stories. “Your love, support, compassion, prayers really help,” Emma wrote. “I’m grateful.”
“Thank you from the bottom of my heart,” the mother of Mabel and her 7-year-old daughter, Evelyn, concluded.
“To Bruce’s amazing supporters, as a family, we wanted to share that our beloved Bruce has been experiencing some health issues and has recently been diagnosed with aphasia, which is impacting his cognitive abilities,” Moore wrote announcing her ex’s retirement. “As a result of this and with much consideration Bruce is stepping away from the career that has meant so much to him.”
“This is a really challenging time for our family and we are so appreciative of your continued love, compassion and support,” she continued. “We are moving through this as a strong family unit, and wanted to bring his fans in because we know how much he means to you, as you do to him.”
“As Bruce always says, ‘Live it up’ and together we plan to do just that,” the message concluded and is signed off by Rumer Willis, Scout Willis, Tallulah Willis, Mabel, and Evelyn, along with Emma and, of course, Moore herself.
While we know this must be a difficult time for the Willis family, we are pleased to see that Bruce and Emma are “living it up” in their own preferred “habitat.”
