Chrissy Teigen Honors Late Son On What Would Have Been His Due Date

It has been 5 months since Chrissy Teigen and John Legend lost their baby, Jack, and last weekend — Chrissy honored Jack on his due date with a heartfelt message.

Teigen was 20 weeks pregnant when she lost her son.

Last weekend, Chrissy posted a photo of her wrist as she dawned a stack of bracelets.

And among her bracelets were three that spelled out her kids’ names in alphabet beads — one for Luna, one for Miles, and of course, one for baby Jack.

“Today was your due date. We love you forever,” Chrissy captioned the photo on her Instagram story.

Despite the tragedy, Teigen believes that her pregnancy loss “saved” her in a way — leading her down a path to therapy and sobriety she may have not originally taken.

“Looking at those pictures now, it seems like so long ago. And also, of course, everything was such a blur,” she says. “Even thinking back to it now, I am still in therapy about it and I’m still coming to terms with it.”

“It was a really transformative thing for me and in a way it really saved me, because I don’t think that I would’ve discovered therapy and then sobriety and this path of feeling good about myself and feeling like a new person,” she shared a few weeks back on Ellen.
