Chrissy Teigen and John Legend reached peak social distancing after throwing their daughter Luna’s stuffed animals a destination wedding. Yes, you read that correctly. On Sunday, the celebrity couple hosted a wedding for their 3-year-old’s stuffed lamb Chloe and bunny Nosh.
They decided to “officiate a stuffed animal wedding” as a way to practice social distancing and keep the family entertained. Teigen shared details of the beachside ceremony on Twitter with updates throughout the occasion. According to Teigen, the bride began “freaking out” and messed up the entire schedule!

For the festivities, Teigen baked a chocolate brownie wedding cake. Legend played his part as well by providing musical stylings for the event. As requested, he performed a cover of Selena Gomez’s “Can’t Keep My Hands to Myself.”
The ceremony included a much-needed respite in the form of a nap for all. The break was followed by a cake cutting and the best part, dancing. Destination weddings are sort of a pain, but with Teigen and Legend’s talents on offer, we’d make the trip!
On the eve of the big day, Chrissy Teigen tweeted a tease detailing her plans.

Teigen tweeted a romantic photo of the stuffed animals, Chloe and Nash, along with further details about the scheduled performance.
“You are cordially invited to the wedding of Chloe + Nosh,” the invite reads. “Sunday, March 29th. 10 AM on Instagram live. Special performances by John Legend and a recording of Selena Gomez.”

Teigen got caught up in the drama of the moment along with the bride.
After the wedding cake update, Teigen provided even more information detailing the drama of the proceedings.
“We’re running a little bit behind on the wedding,” she says. “The bride is freaking out. It looks like ten o’clock is an ambitious time. Maybe ten-thirty…” she says before the video cuts out.

“Not ‘maybe ten-thirty. It will be on at ten-thirty. Um. I’m going to try and get her out there, but right now, she’s not in a good place,” Teigen explains in the video.

Teigen then posted a video of Legend, decked out in a robe aligning stones on their deck for the wedding aisle. Teigen can be heard laughing before she instructs Legend, “They need to be closer together! You can’t even tell it’s an aisle.”
