As the custody battle between Christina Hall and Ant Anstead rages on, new court documents obtained by People reveal how Christina really feels about Anstead’s motives.
According to People, the court documents were filed on September 27. In those documents, it’s revealed that Hall is questioning her ex’s motives when it comes to the son they share, 3-year-old Hudson.

The day before Hall filed her rebuttal, Anstead filed a supplemental declaration the day before where he questioned Hall’s social media posts that involved Hudson. As People continued to report, Hall responded to those concerns by saying she now believes “that from the start, Ant’s intention was not to resolve this matter privately and amicably.”
Hall continued to say that her social media posts “never exploited our son, Hudson,” before addressing the paid Instagram posts Hudson has been a part of in the past.
“He appeared in a few of my own Instagram ads that each took less than 5 minutes to film,” Hall said. “I have all the footage and they were all fun activities that he enjoyed doing, such as playing with toys or making cookies.”
According to People, Hall continued, adding that “these were organic moments in Hudson’s eyes,” and confirmed that the ads were “filmed with a cell phone, not a production team.” It appears that the former couple may have had conversations about their children not appearing on television or social media.
“Hudson has not appeared in any of my Instagram endorsements since April 2022, when Ant asked me not to have him in them,” she noted. “I did not have a problem stopping, nor do I care to feature Hudson in any further endorsements.”
Nonetheless, Hall pointed out that even Anstead occasionally features their son in social media posts, some of which are paid partnerships. Hall said Anstead’s alleged concerns are “a non-issue at this point” and “no longer relevant.”
Hall, as People reports, also mentioned Anstead’s two older children from a previous marriage in her official response. She claimed that, prior to their decision to divorce in 2021, Anstead “repeatedly asked his ex-wife to allow his older kids to film with us and advocated for them to be on film in the show.”
Ultimately, Anstead’s ex and the mother of his two oldest children “did not want their children to be filmed.” Hall continued with concerns of her own, revealing that Anstead had recently found himself in legal trouble after being caught using his UK driver’s license to drive around California.
“I have requested Ant provide me proof of a valid California driver’s license, current vehicle registration, and insurance, and am awaiting those items to be provided by him,” Hall asserted.
Nonetheless, despite all the drama, this custody battle has drummed up, Hall says she has “consistently supported Ant’s relationship with Hudson.” However, she had a few last harsh words for Anstead’s behavior in this matter, People reported.
“I have shared Hudson with Ant during my custodial time so that he can have time with Ant’s other children if they are in town. I have been thankful that Ant has made the same accommodations for Hudson to spend time with his siblings at my home.”
Hall continued to say, “We agreed to resolve this custody matter privately, and yet he continues to file publicly, proving his desire and need for the public’s attention. It is all quite disturbing and now that it is out in the public, it will be far more damaging to Hudson in the long run when he is old enough to see how this matter played out publicly.”
In the end, Hall said the only thing that matters to her is the “welfare of all my children.” And that she will continue to be a “dedicated and protective mother.”
Anstead first filed for full custody of Hudson in April 2022.
