Christina Hall Says She Likes the Month of May Again Even Though ‘I Feel like I’m Being Sucker Punched Left and Right’

Following a rough couple of weeks, Christina Hall, formerly known as Christina El Moussa, has taken a moment to publicly appreciate her new husband. As Mamas Uncut previously reported, Christina was thrown into a public custody battle after one of her ex-husbands, Ant Anstead, filed for emergency full custody of the son they share together.

Christina is a mom of three. She shares her two oldest kids with her first husband and her youngest with Ant. At the moment, Christina doesn’t share any children with her current husband, Josh Hall, whom she married earlier this year.

In his filing for full custody, Ant claimed he has been their son, Hudson’s, primary caregiver for quite some time. As a result, both Christina and Josh were forced to issue statements defending the HGTV star as a mom.

In her original statement, Christina Hall told People, “What Ant is doing deeply saddens me. If this was really about Hudson, as he says, this should have been handled privately with a private judge or mediation, as myself and my attorney have suggested. I have had my share of ups and downs but I am a good mom and I love my children with all my heart and I will always protect them.”

And in Josh’s statement, he said, in part, that “Christina is a very driven and incredible woman who has an ability to brush anything off and keep herself composed while being a positive influence in these kids’ lives while achieving success in anything she does.” He added, “I admire her greatly for that…especially watching my own mother do the same for my siblings and I growing up, I can appreciate it.”

Now, Christina Hall is speaking out in appreciation for Josh. And all that he has done for her since they’ve been together.

“May has never been a great month for me. Not sure what that means astrologically or spiritually but I’ve had some of my worst times in May,” Christina wrote on Instagram. “The difference is this May I have a man who treats me with unconditional love and respect.”

“Standing by me and helping me through these times as I feel like I’m being sucker-punched left and right. It’s when you have your lowest moments that test your relationship when you really see what kind of people you are together. If you have a person who loves and respects you hug them extra tight tonight because trust me not everyone has this.”

Christina and Ant have a court date set in June after a judge denied Ant’s request for emergency full custody. Since the filing was made public, Anstead has not yet issued any additional statements.
