Christina Hall is setting the record straight after her ex-husband, Ant Anstead, made “false accusations” against the HGTV reality star – adding that she’s ‘mentally exhausted’ over the ‘manipulation tactics’ and ‘false information,’ but won’t let it tear her family apart any longer.
Hall and Anstead married in 2018 after her divorce from Tarek El Moussa. Three years later, the couple went through a divorce of their own and while that divorce was finalized in 2021 they’re currently in a heated custody battle over their 3-year-old son, Hudson – and it’s getting spicy!
Recent court documents suggest Anstead was unhappy with Hudson being featured on her social media and in her TV shows. He didn’t want his son ‘being forced to film reality TV,’ citing the ‘lingering issues’ that often accompany child TV stars, including the suicide of Kailia Posey.
According to Hall, the only reason she wanted Hudson featured on her shows was ‘to participate in the fun activities/outings with our family/siblings.” She added that Anstead is using her social media to judge how good of a parent she is, which is out of pocket on so many different levels.
“This is unnecessary pressure for a platform that is supposed to be used to share moments chosen, rather than a judgment tool…especially since this is a very small fraction of my personal life as the rest is kept between me and my family,” she explained in an Instagram post.
As a result of the legal battle and “false accusations” being made about her by Anstead, Hall has decided to ‘no longer feature Hudson on my Instagram, my TV shows, or any social platforms until he is old enough to make this decision for himself.” She has stayed true to that, thus far.
“My personal collection of photos on my phone and in our home are filled with memories of my children, so Hudson will be just fine without having his presence displayed on a public forum,” she added. “Thank you to all the people who can see beyond the nonsense being thrown at me.”

After being married to Tarek El Moussa for nine years, Christina Hall has seen her life change quite a bit since 2018. Her three-year marriage to Ant Anstead ended in 2021, which was followed by an engagement and marriage to real estate agent Joshua Hall earlier this year.
While Christina doesn’t have any children with Joshua yet, she has two children with Tarek – a daughter that was born in 2010 and a son that was born in 2015 – and another child with Anstead – a son that was born in 2019. All the children get along, but Christina and Ant don’t.

As for Anstead, he began dating actress Renée Zellweger – best known for her roles in Jerry Maguire, Cold Mountain, Chicago, Judy, and Bridget Jones’s Diary – roughly nine months after his divorce from Christina. The two are still dating to this day and seem to be happy for now!
