‘Sister Wives’ Star Christine Brown Announces Engagement to David Woolley: “David Treats Me Like a Queen”

It’s official – Sister Wives star Christine Brown is engaged! She shared the news with her Instagram followers on April 13 with several photos of her embracing her new fiancé, David Woolley, though the engagement reportedly happened earlier in the month. The two are ready for their happily ever after!

“We’re engaged! David popped the question VERY romantically, and I said YES! I’m so excited and just live in bliss every day!” she wrote in her Instagram caption, adding the hashtags #engaged #newworld #soulmates and #loveofmylife. The comments section was filled with congratulations and well wishes. 

Christine also gushed about her fiancé in a statement. “David treats me like a queen and tells me I’m beautiful everyday. I’ve never been in love like this before and the world seems like a brighter place with him in it. I’m so excited for the wonderful adventure we are going to embark on for the rest of our lives.”

One of her former sister wives, Janelle Brown, was quick to share her excitement over the engagement – adding a “Hurray!!!” in the comments section. Sarah Fraser also commented, writing, “I’m sooooo happy for you guys!!! Ahhh I can’t wait to follow this journey on TV! I want to see all the wedding details.”

The news comes just four months after the couple started dating and two months since they went public with their relationship. They reportedly started dating in December, but Christine didn’t start talking about her new boyfriend until February 8. One week later, on Valentine’s Day, they decided to go public with it. 

“I finally found the love of my life, David,” Christine said in an Instagram post at the time. “The first time he held me close, it felt like my soul took it’s first breath. He’s wonderful and kind, incredible with my children and an adorable grandpa. I never dreamed I could find a love like this,” she continued on Instagram. 

The news also comes just 17 months after Christine Brown announced her split from Kody Brown. They were married for 26 years and their relationship – along with his three other wives – was put on full display with the reality show, Sister Wives, which aired for 17 seasons starting in September 2010. 

Christine Brown Enjoying Her New Life With David

Since going public with their relationship in February, Christine Brown hasn’t been shy about sharing some of her most precious moments and incredible memories she has made with her new fiancé. On March 18, she shared a photo of the two while exploring and adventuring in Utah, where they now live.

“Life is short, why not take a wonderful weekend get away for some fun new adventures. I love having a partner to go on these fun new adventures with. We could not get enough of the gorgeous views. Utah is a beautiful place, there are so many secrets to explore,” Christine wrote in the Instagram caption. 

More recently, the couple took a trip to Universal Studios with Christine’s youngest daughter, Truely – who is celebrating her 13th birthday on April 13. She shares five other children with ex-husband, Kody Brown – Ysabel Brown, 20, Gwendlyn Brown, 21, Paedon Brown, 24, Mykelti Brown, 26, and Aspyn Brown, 28.

“Making memories and going through adventures have always been precious to me. I’ve been blessed enough with the ability and time to make these core memories with my kids. Adventuring with [David] and Truely in California [at Universal Studios] this weekend has been wonderful,” she wrote in the caption.
