So I don’t know about other people with curly hair, but if you like to wear your hair naturally, it’s work getting your curl to lay right, while also keep your natural volume intact. And don’t even get me started about frizz.

I’m someone who truly prefers to wear her hair natural. But for years I have struggled with finding a hair product that left my hair feeling natural while also taming the frizz and keeping my natural volume. I mean, when I tell you I’ve spent hundreds of dollars on hair products, hair cuts, and tried them all, I am telling you the thruth.

And now I’m here to tell you I found it. I found the perfect product that gives me all of those things, natural feeling, frizz-less, volumized hair!

OUAI, the brand owned by celebrity hairstylist Jen Atkin, created the product and it can be found at Ulta! They have two options when it comes to their Curl Creme, you can get it with a scent or fragrance free.

I personally prefer my styling products to be fragrance free, so that’s the one I choose to try. So how does it work? After getting out of the shower, section your damp hair and comb the product through each section of hair. I just used my fingers.

After running the product through, I like to whip my hair back and fourth a couple of times. I then take a little bit more for the curl cream to scrunch my hair and bring my curls back to life. I also like to do a quick scalp massage while the product is still on my hands.

If you’re someone who prefers to use a diffuser, now is the time to do so. But I mean it when I say you don’t need to use any heat with this product! I don’t!

You can also use this product on dry hair. Though I have never used it this way, yet, OUAI explains that if you want to use it on dry hair, “apply sparingly and directly to curls to help define and smooth frizz.”
