One daughter is breaking the hearts of people everywhere. The little girl’s reaction to seeing her father, who currently serves our country in the United States military, for the first time in eight months was captured on camera and is now going viral.
Tyler Thomas has been deployed for the last 285 days. And the moment he arrived home to see his family, his beautiful baby girl couldn’t have been more excited.

The video first starts off with the little girl holding a felt sign up that reads, “8 months later, Daddy’s home!” You can hear her mom then ask her if she’s ready to get her daddy and as she round the corner, she bursts into an adorable squeal.
As she yells “Dad!” you see her jump into his arms and then that’s when Thomas starts breaking people’s hearts. As he holds his daughter in his arms, he can’t help but become overran with emotions.
“Just a beautiful video…no words needed,” one commenter wrote. “I’m bawling! Welcome home and thank you for your service. Her little squeal and giggles are so pure,” another added.
Someone else shared, “Thank you for your service. I wish you and your family feelings of love and happiness like this video every day! God Bless.” As well as, “That’s so precious!!! Again, thank you for your service to our country! And tell your wife, thanks for being the strong wife that stands behind her soldier and supports this country as well.”
In a follow-up post, Thomas sent a special thank you to his wife to taking care of their daughters while he was gone for eight months.
