A dad is getting sliced apart online after posting a photo of him eating an entire pizza while his wife can be seen writhing in pain during her delivery.
The dad posted the photo to Reddit and was met with not so happy commenters.
The photo, that quickly became popular, was posted Wednesday to the r/trashy forum, where an anonymous user wrote the reason for submitting it in this particular subreddit.
“Casually eating pizza when your significant other (SO) is in the middle of giving birth,” the Redditor wrote.
“It’s not delivery it’s DiGiorno,” read the photo caption.
And as you can imagine, commenters were not pleased.
One commenter said: “The picture is trashy. But I was in labor for three days my husband had to eat. But he didn’t take pictures like this.”
While another commented: “He’s not supporting her, he’s eating pizza and taking pictures of her in pain. My husband was by my side, helping me get through contractions, not ignoring me.”
While others thought it was humorous.
“Ngl, but if I was in labor and my partner took a photo like that, I’d laugh my a** off later,” one user commented, while another said:
“My husband and I have inside jokes and this is exactly the sort of thing we would do. Plus I wouldn’t want him to starve during a possible 14h+ labour.”
