Lori Loughlin is returning to television after two months in prison.
Now with Lori’s arrest and prison sentence in the college admissions scandal behind her, she is ready to start work up again.
Lori was originally let go from the Hallmark series, When Calls the Heart, due to the admissions scandal.
The network cut ties with her as a result of the court proceedings and edited her character out of the remaining episodes she had already filmed. And in 2019, they removed her from the storyline completely.
But now, it sounds like she is picking the role of Abigail Stanton back up. However, she will be joining the rest of the cast on a new network, GAC Family network, for the second season.
The show is set to air on Saturday, December 18.
Loughlin was sentenced to two months in federal prison and fined $150,000. She was additionally ordered to fulfill 150 hours of community service upon release.
In May, Loughlin and her husband, fashion designer Mossimo Giannulli, pleaded guilty to conspiracy to commit wire and mail fraud.
Giannulli was also charged with one count of honest services wire and mail fraud and was sentenced to five months in prison.
Over 50 parents were accused of bribing their children’s way into elite universities.

Loughlin and Giannulli were accused of paying $500,000 to falsely portray their daughters, Olivia and Isabella Rose Giannulli, as talented rowers to the USC crew team.
Neither of them had any previous experience participating in said sport. Olivia, taking the lead from Loughlin, is set to be in the celebrity cast lineup on the upcoming season of Dancing with the Stars.
Just a few weeks ago, Olivia was revealed to be one of the celebrity contenders on the 30th season of DWTS. She informed reporters at a press event that she was hoping it would be an opportunity to “grow” as a person.
“I hope people just really genuinely know how excited and grateful I am,” Olivia said. “I think about a few weeks ago, and knowing that this was very far-fetched and not really in the cards. I’m super thankful for a second chance.”
“I’m ready to put myself back out there and try new things,” she added. “I’m really excited to challenge myself and put myself out of my comfort zone, which I don’t do often.”
