Donald Trump’s Georgia Quagmire: Ranking the Mugshots from Fulton County

It’s been a historic week following District Attorney Fani Willis formally charging former President Donald Trump and dozens more with crimes related to efforts to overturn the election results in Georgia following the 2020 election. Donny Boy and his alleged co-conspirators, including Rudy Giuliani, Mark Meadows, and Jenna Ellis, got glamour shots courtesy of the Fulton County Jail. It was baby’s first presidential mugshot yesterday, the first ever taken of any president. If you’re counting, this is the fourth indictment and surrender of the orangutan fascist this year. What a feat! Maggie Haberman must be so proud of her little pal!

Because an attempt by a President to overthrow the United States government is so rare, we wanted to take stock of all of the mugshots out of Atlanta. They are a veritable who’s who of MAGA cranks who allegedly broke the law, predicated on lies, and hitched their wagon to the derailed Trump train in 2020. We’ve got all their mugshots to share with you, ranked from least to most sinister.

Kenneth Chesebro

With a name that conjures images of a “chess bro” or a neighborhood characterized by its cheese, Kenneth Cheseboro was booked Wednesday in Fulton County. He is a lawyer (for now) who allegedly cooked up the “fake electors” scheme. He was released on $100,000 bond. He looks a bit startled in this image but he mostly played it straight.

Charges: Seven counts — two of conspiracy to commit forgery in the first degree; two of conspiracy to commit false statements; one of violation of the Georgia RICO Act; one of conspiracy to commit filing false documents; one of conspiracy to commit impersonating a public officer.

Cathy Latham

In Coffee County, Georgia, a place that sounds like it’s got the jitters, Cathy Latham was the local GOP chair who allegedly committed a little election fraud. Authorities released her after posting a $100,000 bond.

Charges: Nine counts — two of conspiracy to commit forgery in the first degree; two of conspiracy to commit false statements; one of violation of the Georgia RICO Act; one of solicitation of violation of oath by a public officer; one of conspiracy to commit filing false documents; one of filing false documents; one of conspiracy to commit impersonating a public officer.

John Eastman

Fulton County Sheriff’s Office

John Eastman worked as an attorney for Trump in 2020. He was the one who asserted that the Vice President could reject the election results. He looks like he has rejected moisturizer for his entire life. Genuine thought: We wonder how many of Trump’s conspiracy cadre of lawyers will end up disbarred by the time this is over. He, too, managed to bond out, paying $100,000.

Scott Hall

Fulton County Sheriff’s Office

In this mugshot, Scott Hall looks like a youth pastor who lost his way. He has been charged with illegally interfering with voting machines in our favorite roasted geographic region: Coffee County, Georgia. A bail bondman by trade, Hall knew which boxes to check when he posted his own at $10,000.

Charges: Seven counts — two of conspiracy to commit election fraud; one of violation of the Georgia RICO Act; one of conspiracy to commit computer theft; one of conspiracy to commit computer trespass; one of conspiracy to defraud the state; one of conspiracy to commit computer invasion of privacy.

Jeffrey Clark

While he looks like he just sat on a whoopee cushion in this photo, Jeffrey Clark was once a high-ranking official in the Justice Department. His alleged schemes warranted a $100,000 bond.

Charges: Seven counts — two of conspiracy to commit forgery in the first degree; two of conspiracy to commit false statements; one of violation of the Georgia RICO Act; one of conspiracy to commit filing false documents; one of conspiracy to commit impersonating a public officer.

Misty Hampton

Misty Hampton was caught on surveillance tape, allowing two men to tamper with voting machines. She was the elections director for Coffee County, who said she did not trust the votes tabulated in the election she had herself overseen. She was booked and released after posting a modest $10,000 bond.

Michael Roman

Fulton County Sheriff’s Office

Racketeering Roman! Michael Roman was the director of Election Day operations for Trump’s 2020 reelection campaign. According to the charges, he played a pivotal role in advancing the “fake electors” scheme. It didn’t work, and we hope that it was worth it for him. He posted $50,000 bond and was released this week.

Charges: Seven counts — two of conspiracy to commit forgery in the first degree; two of conspiracy to commit false statements; one of violation of the Georgia RICO Act; one of conspiracy to commit filing false documents; one of conspiracy to commit impersonating a public officer.

Harrison Floyd

Fulton County Sheriff’s Office

A man who looks like allergy season has gotten the better of Harrison Floyd, the only alleged co-conspirator with no bond agreement. He is currently behind bars in Fulton County. It is unknown why his bond agreement is different from others, but it could be because he allegedly attacked an FBI agent serving him a subpoena for the federal grand jury in DC. Oh, the webs we weave.

Charges: Three counts — one of violation of the Georgia RICO Act; one of influencing witnesses; one of conspiracy to commit solicitation of false statements and writings.

Sidney Powell

Fulton County Sheriff’s Office

With questionable taste in sweaters and even more questionable ethics, Sidney Powell had a lot to say whenever a camera was pointed at her in 2020. In addition to being processed by the Fulton County Sheriff’s Department (posting $100,000 bond), she also faces disbarment in more than one state. You go, girl!

Shawn Still

Donald Trump's Georgia Quagmire: Ranking the Mugshots from Fulton County
Fulton County Sheriff’s Office

The only elected member of the Georgia State government to be charged is State Sen. Shawn Still. Apparently, his colleagues know better than to masquerade as a fake elector for Trump. Despite being elected by voters in Georgia, he does not feel that those same people can deliver a fair trial for him. He is seeking a federal trial, not one convened in Fulton County. He paid $10,000 as bond. Mugshots don’t get more “generic white guy” than this.

Charges: Seven counts — two of forgery in the first degree; two of false statements; one of violation of the Georgia RICO Act; one of criminal attempt to commit filing false documents; one of impersonating a public officer.

Mark Meadows

Fulton County Sheriff’s Office

You mad? Mark Meadows looks like an angry tomato here. The bloodshot eyes and bright red nose have us wondering if he might have thrown a couple back before turning himself in. Meadows was Trump’s chief of staff who allegedly schemed on Trump’s behalf. He is the second White House Chief of Staff to face criminal charges after HR Haldeman. At least he made history somehow! He posted a $100,000 bond and was released.

Charges: Two counts — one of violation of the Georgia RICO Act; one of solicitation of violation of oath by a public officer.

Rudy Giuliani

Fulton County Sheriff’s Office

Another of the minions in Trump’s inner circle, Rudy Giuliani, took a rather unimpressive mugshot. We had high hopes for him. No, no fake tanner streaming down his face. Bummer! Famously, Giuliani was Trump’s attorney and confidant who seems to have steered him wrong at every turn. The man who famously took down the mob using RICO charges now faces them himself. Sad. He had to pay a $150,000 bond.

Charges: Thirteen counts — three of solicitation of violation of oath by a public officer; three of false statements; two of conspiracy to commit false statements and writings; two of conspiracy to commit forgery in the first degree; one of violation of the Georgia RICO Act; one of conspiracy to commit impersonating a public officer; one of conspiracy to commit filing false documents.

Donald Trump

Have you ever seen anyone try so hard to look tough? Granted, this image will become one of the most infamous of all time. Take a moment and wax poetic over this image with us. Look at how his combover captures the light, a thing of beauty. His eyebrows look like albino caterpillars, raised into Lorax-like arches.

Widdle Donny is such a strong boy!

Trump, Meadows, and Giuliani all have the most charges, with 13 each. They’re winners, baby! Trump paid $200,000 in bond and was released Thursday.

Charges: Thirteen counts — three of solicitation of violation of oath by public officer; two of conspiracy to commit forgery in the first degree; two of conspiracy to commit false statements; two of false statements and writings; one of violation of the Georgia RICO Act; one of conspiracy to commit filing false documents; one of filing false documents; one of conspiracy to commit to impersonating a public officer.

Jenna Ellis

Now, it’s time for the grinners. We don’t know why these are so unsettling. Maybe it’s because no one should be happy to get booked and charged with crimes. Jenna Ellis looks like she just won the lottery. We should have expected this from someone who has lied about her legal career and qualifications for years. She doesn’t know when to stop the grift. She went from being in traffic court to a member of Trump’s legal team… She was released after posting a $100,000 bond.

Charges: Two counts — one of violation of the Georgia RICO Act; one of solicitation of violation of oath by a public officer.

David Shafer

Fulton County Sheriff’s Office

Just another day at the office, am I right? Here’s another alleged criminal cracking a smile for that mugshot camera. David Shafer chaired the Georgia Republican Party in 2020 and filed a lawsuit with the group contesting the certification of Georgia’s presidential election results. He also was a fake elector. We don’t know what he’s smiling about, as he won’t be chair of anything else anytime soon.

Charges: Eight counts — three of false statements; two of forgery in the first degree; one of violation of the Georgia RICO Act; one of impersonating a public officer; one of criminal attempt to commit filing false documents.

Ray Smith

Now, it’s time for some terror. We saved the best and creepiest mugshots for last. This man looks capital M MAD. He also looks like he and Trump employ the same barber. Meet Ray Smith. He is an attorney who represented Trump and Co. in multiple Georgia lawsuits. Now, he’s getting a view from the other side! He posted a $50,000 bond this week.

Charges: Twelve counts — three of solicitation of violation of oath by public officer; two of false statements; two of conspiracy to commit forgery in the first degree; two of conspiracy to commit false statements and writings; one of violation of the Georgia RICO Act; one of conspiracy to commit filing false documents; one of conspiracy to commit impersonating public officer.

Robert Cheeley

Who stole this man’s lunch money? Robert Cheeley is an Atlanta-based attorney who has got himself mixed up in the election meddling schemes and a web of alleged lies. The cost to bond out was $50,000.

Charges: Ten counts — two of conspiracy to commit forgery in the first degree; two of conspiracy to commit false statements; one of violation of the Georgia RICO Act; one of conspiracy to commit filing false documents; one of conspiracy to commit impersonating a public officer; one of solicitation of violation of oath by a public officer; one of false statements; one of perjury.

Stephen Lee

Fulton County Sheriff’s Office

One of the folks who had to make a long trip to Atlanta was a Lutheran pastor from Illinois, Stephen Lee. This man’s lines have lines. He is charged for allegedly trying to intimidate an Atlanta election worker, among other crimes. He was one of the last defendants to turn himself in. We hope he saved some prayers for himself. He’s going to need them! Let’s hope he did not dip into the offering plates for his $75,000 bond.

Charges: Five counts — two of criminal attempt to commit influencing witnesses; one of violation of the Georgia RICO Act; one of influencing witnesses; one of conspiracy to commit solicitation of false statements.

Trevian Kutti

Fulton County Sheriff’s Office

Last but certainly not least is the former publicist of Ye (Kanye West), Trevian Kutti. We do not know if she intended to look like a cartoon villain, but we’ll let you be the judge. Kutti was charged for her alleged efforts to compel Ruby Freeman, an election worker in Georgia’s Fulton County, into making a bogus confession to voting fraud in January 2021. She also paid a $75,000 bond. Kutti hands-down wins for best mugshot.

Charges: Three counts — one of violation of the Georgia RICO Act; one of influencing witnesses; one of conspiracy to commit solicitation of false statements.

There you go! You made it through all the Trump-related mugshots the Fulton County Sheriff’s Department released. We hope you’ve enjoyed this vice-ridden romp. The trial is set to kick off in late October. Until then, make sure you know who’s who among the defendants. We look forward to justice being served!
