No, we’re not describing crackpot conspiracy theories or reckless insinuations. That’s not funny. We are, however, after finding a simpler, more mundane form of stupid.

So, what are the most cringeworthy posts of the year? We took a look back and waded through the imbecilic waters of 2020 to discover what rusty treasure was hidden in plain sight. We honestly don’t know how we, as a species, have survived this long after combing through blatantly bad social media posts that have been published over the past several months. Buckle up! We’re not sure why the word salmonella trips so many people up! As we were doing research for this post, we noticed the bacteria confused with the fish several times. Also, this is dumb and disgusting.

Wear a Mask and What, Now?

“Please wear a mask and use the hand fertilizer,” is a message that does instill confidence that we will, indeed, weather this plague. The prospect of fertilizing hands is downright chilling.

Looks like someone never heard of Internet Technology. May we all remember the blissful days before ever having to contact an IT department. It was a simpler time.

We might not be Catholic but we know enough to know that the Pope is the chief pastor of the worldwide Catholic church. People really twist themselves into stupid knots just to hate.

If you somehow missed the cast iron discourse on Twitter recently, enjoy this exchange. We’re not entirely sure what people think the word “bourgeois” means. Cast iron pans and skillets are very affordable and they generally stay in families for generations.
