Fans Criticize Joy-Anna Duggar For Not Protecting Daughter Evelyn From Germs

Joy-Anna Duggar is getting heat from fans who claim she put her child in harm’s way.

After sharing a photo to Instagram over the weekend, fans were upset seeing her child chew on a metal gate amid a global pandemic.

“First softball game of the season & first win of the season! We’re off to a pretty good start!” she wrote.

In one of the photos, Evelyn has her mouth on a fence. This drew criticism from fans.

One user commented: “I love the pictures but she should put her mouth on that nasty gate,” while another said: “Ugh!!! Have a little class and keep your tongues in your mouths.”

Recently Evelyn celebrated her first birthday and Joy honored her little girl’s day with an adorable slideshow of photos from the past year.

“I remember listening to this song on repeat when I was pregnant with you. I couldn’t wait to hold you in my arms and watch you grow … and here you are, somehow, already a year old! Evelyn, Mama and Papa love you so much. You will always be our ‘Princess,'” she wrote.

In other news, the Duggar family continues to be immersed in controversy after news broke that Jim Bob and Michelle‘s eldest son, Josh Duggar, was arrested is facing charges of child pornography.

Before that, Josh was also at the center of attention when news broke he had molested five of his sisters as a teen.

And while Josh is now facing up to 40 years in prison for the child pornography charges — it comes as a shock to no one his most recent scandal is heavily affecting his siblings and those relationships are shifting as a result.

According to legal documents obtained by People, the Duggar family has since filed two motions to dismiss his case.

Filed on Friday, August 21, the motions asked that Josh’s case be dismissed because of “technicalities over who was running the Department of Homeland Security at the time of their investigation.” The motions further say that “investigators failed to ‘preserve potentially exculpatory evidence.’”

Prosecutors say that over 200 images of children were discovered on Josh’s computer.

The DHS ran forensic analysis on an HP computer and a MacBook which included a backup of an iPhone — all of which are believed to have been owned by the 33-year-old father of seven.
