Statement Reveals Rapper Fetty Wap’s 4-Year-Old Daughter Has Passed Away

Rapper Fetty Wap and the mother of his 4-year-old daughter have revealed that their baby girl has passed away. Fetty Wap, born Zavier Jordan Maxwell, is known for hits like Trap Queen and 679.

According to Lauren Maxwell’s mom, Turquoise Miami took to Instagram to share the devastating news on Instagram. Along with a video of Lauren wearing a big smile on her face as she played in a pool, the grieving mother wrote, “This is my amazing, beautiful, funny, vibrant, loving, talented, smart, and hardheaded princess mermaid Aquarius.”

“If you see this post scrolling by with her comment or just say to yourself, ‘I love you LAUREN’ because they say that souls can feel your love #rip.”

Fetty Wap Dedicates Latest Performance to His Late Daughter.

While it was only on July 31 that Lauren’s family confirmed the little girl’s passing, other reports from Rap-Up and Hot97 have stated that Lauren passed away in late June. While Fetty Wap has not personally commented on the passing of his daughter, he did dedicate a recent performance to his little girl saying, “LoLo daddy did that s**t for you last night baby girl,” People reported.

Fetty Wap often posts moments he shares with his multiple children. Lauren’s siblings include Aydin, Zaviera, Eliza, Khari, Amani, and Zy.

Following Turquoise’s statement, she deleted every other post on her Instagram feed. However, followers and friends flooded the comments section with condolences and memories they’ve had with Lauren.

Family, friends, and fans send their condolences after the news of Lauren’s passing.

“I love you, Lauren, I’ve loved you since day one,” one commenter, seemingly a friend of the family’s, wrote. “I used to tell your mom you made me laugh so much with your serious expressions, I could tell you were an old soul and had to have been here before  But your smile, that smile, girl lit up the sky. Sleep so peacefully, princess.”

Lauren’s cause of death has not yet been confirmed. However, Hot97 has reported claims that Lauren “was sick for one month and died in her sleep.” Turquoise’s Instagram bio explains that she “will not [be] replying to dm’s at this time.” So it is unclear if she will make any further public comments on her daughter’s passing in the future.
