Following speculation — it has been confirmed: Gal Gadot is pregnant with baby no. 3-!
Gadot, 35, confirmed last Monday how she was pregnant after fans began to speculate at the 2021 Golden Globes.
“Here we go again,” she tweeted along with a photo of her husband, Yaron Varsano, and their two daughters, Maya and Alma.
Fans first noticed Gadot’s loose-fitting outfit at the event and began raising eyebrows.
Recently, the Gadot defended her plan to play Cleopatra after accusations of whitewashing were made.
Those who do not want Gadot playing the role believe an Arab or an African actress should.
“First of all if you want to be true to the facts then Cleopatra was Macedonian,” Gadot informed BBC Arabic’s Sam Asi.
“We were looking for a Macedonian actress that could fit Cleopatra. She wasn’t there, and I was very passionate about Cleopatra.”
After the announcement in October, controversy exploded when Gadot revealed she would star and co-produce the film.
Gadot said: “I have friends from across the globe, whether they’re Muslims or Christian or Catholic or atheist or Buddhist, or Jewish of course… People are people, and with me I want to celebrate the legacy of Cleopatra and honour this amazing historic icon that I admire so much.”
She continued on, saying: “You know, anybody can make this movie and anybody can go ahead and do it. I’m very passionate that I’m going to do my own too.”
