George Clooney Uses a Flowbee to Cut His Own Hair

George Clooney has had no problem cutting his own hair during quarantine because, as he recently confessed on CBS Sunday Morning, he’s been doing it himself for years! Turns out one of the world’s most famous men has been using a Flowbee, a vacuum hair cutting device from the 80s, to get his perfectly coifed style.

“I’ve been cutting my own hair for 25 years,” said Clooney. “My hair is really, like, straw, so it’s easy to cut. You can’t really make too many mistakes. So, years ago, I bought a Flowbee, which [came out] when I was a kid.”

As a huge fan of the Flowbee, George continued to plug the product. “It comes with the vacuum cleaner and the clippers. I still have it. My haircuts take, literally, two minutes.”

Clooney then went on to demonstrate his Flowbee cut on Jimmy Kimmel Live.

“I think my assistant got it originally … and then it broke down. And then you couldn’t get them for a while,” he told Jimmy Kimmel.

“People who have assistants shouldn’t be Flowbee-ing their hair,” said Kimmel.

“Well, I got her to Flowbee my hair for me. I don’t do it myself — my god, that’s cheap!” Clooney laughed.

During his CBS interview, George also gushed about his love for his wife Amal.

“There is no question that having Amal in my life changed everything for me,” he said. “It was the first time that everything that she did and everything about her was infinitely more important than anything about me.”
