A woman writes in asking for advice about getting pregnant after experiencing several miscarriages. This woman recently suffered her third miscarriage, and though she is still processing the trauma, she is also ready to try again. She turns to the community for advice, asking specifically if other women who have experienced a similar difficult pregnancy journey have any tips or would be willing to share what they did differently when they were eventually able to carry to term.
It seems as if that “quarantine baby boom” people have been wondering about is starting sooner than anyone could have expected. This month alone, we’ve gotten celebrity pregnancy announcements from Chris Pratt and Katherine Schwarzenegger, Lea Michele and her husband, Aaron Carter and his girlfriend, Hilaria and Alec Baldwin, and Joy-Anna Duggar and Austin Forsyth, to name a few.
A ray of hope in this dark, dark world. Alec Baldwin and his wife, Hilaria Baldwin, just announced that they are expecting their fifth child. The joyous news comes just four months after Hilaria suffered a miscarriage in November of 2019. She also suffered a miscarriage in April of 2019. Hilaria Baldwin shared a short video to Instagram in which you can hear her baby’s heartbeat. “Sound up,” her caption begins. “I’ll let the baby do the talking because I don’t have the words to express how this sound makes us feel. Just got the great news that all is well and all is healthy with this little munchkin. I wanted to share this with you. Here we go again.” The Baldwins are parents to daughter Carmen Gabriela, 6, and sons Romeo Alejandro David, 11 months, Leonardo Ángel Charles, 3, and Rafael Thomas, 4. Alec also has a 24-year-old daughter, Ireland Baldwin, whom he shares with his ex, Kim Bassinger. So I have a question and kinda just an irritated vent/rant. My boyfriend and I have been trying to get pregnant for the last four months. We already have a 5 yr old together. Every month I’m extremely regular with my periods. This month I’ve had three of them. I’ve been to ER and obgyn everything is fine, no miscarriages, no abnormal things going on all tests are normal but for me its weird because every month is the exact same except this month. Has anyone ever experienced this when trying to conceive and having pretty normal periods. Its annoying me and messing up my ovulation day and tracking i do. And its just stressing me out. Help me. I should be getting my period next week but hoping for a positive as we are TTC. My husband and I have been trying for a baby for 3 years going on 4. I found out I have PCOS. But I believe I might have had implantation bleeding. My ‚Äúperiod‚Äù started four days ago. It was a darker brown. And went to a pink/red color for one day and then back to brown and has been very light when normally I have pretty heavy periods. It lasted about 4 days. I was wondering when would be he best time to take a pregnancy test? I’m almost scared to take a test to see the negative sign yet again. As well as any advice for women who have struggled getting pregnant and getting depressed every single time I get my period. It feels like I’m surrounded by people getting pregnant or the normal phrases of ‚Äúit will happen sometime‚Äù ‚ÄúDon’t give up hope‚Äù or people telling me that it took them so and so many years to get pregnant finally. It honestly just makes me feel worse if that makes sense. Anonymous Community MemberThis question was asked by a Facebook community member who has asked to remain anonymous.
So how do you know when it’s time to have another baby? I have an 18 month old and a 5 month old. I’m itching to have another and my husband is all for it. So I’m curious to hear from other moms with big families and kiddos close together. To see what’s it like? Advice? Please no rude comments. I love being a mom, I am a stay at home mom as well. Wanted some advice from mamas who have used or believe in methods to conceive a girl. I just got my Nexplanon implant removed and we are ready to conceive our second child. I want another girl preferably so my daughter and her could grow up together and dress alike. Any advice from mamas on how to conceive a girl? Also, anyone ever have any issues conceiving after getting their implant removed? Thank you! ????
