Roughly three years after her father, Joe Giudice, was deported from the United States to Italy, Gia Giudice has accepted a post-undergrad job with Kathleen Martinez, an immigration lawyer who operates virtually in all 50 states. The 22-year-old is excited to share her passion with the world.
Martinez announced the hiring on social media – including a TikTok video that read, “You’re never going to guess who I just hired,” before revealing a photo of Gia. She described her as ‘the next generation’ and even took to the comments section and replied to a user – praising her passion for helping immigrants.
“I don’t think people understand how invested Gia would be in a firm like this – comes from her heart,” said one user in the comments, to which Martinez replied, “She wants to help immigrants more than people realize, her heart is so big for that.” She even responded to someone who was interested in a job!

Gia Giudice is a senior at Rutgers University and is currently finishing up her undergraduate degree before taking the next step towards her dream of being an immigration lawyer – she’ll attend law school next. She began this journey back in 2019 when her father was deported to Italy, away from his family.
He had just finished his 41-month prison sentence after being found guilty of mail, wire, and bankruptcy fraud in 2014 – Gia’s mother, Teresa Giudice, also pleaded guilty to several fraud charges. After leaving prison, Joe was taken into custody by ICE and was eventually deported – despite three appeals.
“We have always maintained that Joe Giudice belongs in the United States with his family, not in Italy,” said his attorney, James J. Leonard, at the time. He added that the ‘immigration laws in our country are both draconian and antiquated and need to be revisited by forward-thinking members of Congress.’
While her father hasn’t been able to return to the United States since he’s currently living his life out in the Bahamas – and, don’t worry, his daughters get to see him quite frequently. To make matters even sweeter, he began the process of returning to the US over a year ago – so he might make a return soon!
Gia Giudice Gives Update on Her Life
On January 24th, Gia Giudice took to Instagram in a joint post with RHONJ blogger Jack Sitt to give an update on her life. She talked about her plans to enter law school once she graduates and expressed how well her father is doing – adding he’s working for a construction company in the Bahamas currently.
The RHPNJ daughter also expressed how much fun she’s having with the wedding planning process for her mom. “It’s going to be spectacular, and I can’t wait to be there,” she said, adding her mother is not a ‘Bridezilla’ – instead, describing her as ‘easy-going’ and calling the wedding planning process ‘easy.’
She also loves living with her mother’s future husband and his son. “I love living in my new house, everyone just blends perfectly, and the house is so beautiful. Living with Louie and his son is honestly so easy. I think they had more adjusting to do trying to figure out how to live with five girls,” she said.
