Gigi Hadid and Zayn Malik‘s baby girl is 4 months old and we FINALLY know her name!
The couple have kept the name mum since her secret birth in September.
Gigi and Zayn named their baby girl Khai.
Gigi announced the name in a very subtle way — by having her Instagram bio read: “Khai’s mom.”
There was speculation that Gigi was honoring her younger sister as Bella Hadid‘s middle name is Khair — and many wondered if this was a coincidence.

And while it could be that — both Gigi and Zayn could also be honoring the Arabic roots of both of their families.
As Zayn is of Pakistani heritage, and Gigi’s father, Mohamed Hadid, is Palestinian. The name Khai means “crowned” in Arabic, which works quite well with Zayn’s surname, which means “king.”
“Gigi and Zayn both hail from Muslim backgrounds, and a form of the name translates as ‘crowned’ or ‘royalty’ in Arabic,” baby name expert SJ Strum shared. “Khai — the spelling used by Gigi and Zayn — is also a popular Vietnamese boys’ name meaning ‘warrior strong.'”

In addition, Strum also pointed out how gender-neutral names are very popular right now, especially among millennial parents.
The 25-year-old has been overjoyed with her little one — even sharing a mirror selfie where we could see little Khai’s hands.
“My girl. Four months and the best kid,” she wrote, adding an angel emoji.
