Gisele Bündchen is making her return to modeling nearly 2.5 months after her divorce from NFL legend Tom Brady was finalized. She appeared in a new campaign by Louis Vuitton, promoting the fashion giant’s second collaboration with Japanese artist Yayoi Kusama – along with several other models.
In a short Instagram video, Bündchen was seen holding one of the unique purses from the Yayoi Kusama collection – fit with colorful polka dots. The 42-year-old icon was topless and wearing jeans in the video, which has been liked by nearly 50,000 people and received nearly 1,000 comments in less than 24 hours.
“The collection reinterprets the Maison’s iconic pieces, infused with the artist’s signature motifs. Celebrating art, audacity, and craftsmanship, Kusama’s Painted Dots, Metal Dots, Infinity Dots, and Psychedelic Flower enliven the universe of Louis Vuitton,” the fashion house states on its website.

Gisele Bündchen wasn’t the only fashion icon featured in the new campaign for Louis Vuitton. She was joined by Bella Hadid, Karlie Kloss, Christy Turlington, Devon Aoki, Natalia Vodianova, and Liya Kebede. They make quite a powerful group, which is to be expected from a company like Louis Vuitton.
Bündchen’s appearance in the campaign falls in line with her continued focus on her modeling career in the wake of her divorce from Brady. For example, she recently attended Vivara’s 60th-anniversary dinner in São Paulo, Brazil and she looked stunning, as always – primarily drawing attention with her gold attire.
Unfortunately, Gisele Bündchen has doubled down on her wish to stay as far away from runways as possible. She previously confirmed she was done with that part of her career in September, noting that she has ‘zero desire’ to return to the runway – despite receiving countless offers from various sources.
Bündchen’s runway retirement came in 2020, though she previously discussed that intent in 2015. She cited her body for being the primary reason behind her retirement. “Automatically, my body tells me if what I do is worth it, and it asked to stop. I respect my body, it’s a privilege to be able to stop,” she said.
