A family lost their 21-month-old daughter after a driver hit her while she was playing in her driveway and then took off.
Giselle Quiroz had been playing by the curb in her front yard when a car struck her, as reported by Fox 59. Her parents rushed her to the hospital, but it was too late.

Neighbors reported that cars have always driven fast down the road. “They fly down this street. They always have and always will and it’s scary,” Jean Bland, a neighbor, told Fox 59.
“How could you drive away from something like that?” Bland continued. “I don’t care if you don’t have insurance or if you were high, stoned. How could you drive away when you saw a baby like that? How could you do that?”
“They didn’t stop and that was wrong,” said another neighbor, Lela Miller. “Accidents happen, but they need to stop and take account for what they did.”
