Gwen Stefani Gets Marriage to Gavin Rossdale Annulled by the Catholic Church 5 Years Later

Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale‘s marriage has been officially annulled by the catholic church more than five years after their official breakup.

“Gwen was told the decision was made by the Vatican tribunal,” a source told Us Weekly. “She will be receiving the notification in writing in the next few weeks, but it’s official.”

Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale’s Marriage is Finally Annulled

Stefani filed for divorce from the father of her children in August 2015 after nearly 13 years of marriage. The pair finalized their divorce in April 2016.

The singer reportedly wanted to receive the official blessing from the catholic church before marrying fiancé Blake Shelton.

“It was a huge relief for Gwen because she wanted to get married by her priest and have the marriage recognized by the Catholic church,” added the source.
