Gypsy Rose Blanchard has stunned with her latest announcement.
On her YouTube page, the 32-year-old has announced that she is pregnant. “I’m Pregnant, My Journey So Far,” she titled the video.
In the video, Blanchard shared that she’s 11 weeks pregnant with her boyfriend Ken Urker. Ken and Blanchard first met as pen pals while Blanchard was still in prison for her role in the 2015 murder of her mom Dee Dee.
Ken and Blanchard reconnected months after she was released from Prison in 2023, following her divorce from her estranged husband Ryan Anderson.
“It wasn’t until I knew that my marriage was over that I was like, ‘I would like to see you and let’s hang out because we never got to hang out before when I was in prison’,” Blanchard told People of rekindling her romance with Ken following her separation from Ryan.
“I would say that Ken is my first love because that’s when I honestly felt like a mature love. It wasn’t based off of a fantasy. It was actually based on a connection that two people have for each other,” Gypsy Rose said at the time.
“Ken and I are expecting our very first child come January 2025. We’re both very excited,” Blanchard continued, admitting “this was not planned.”
Nonetheless, despite the surprise, she said they are “both very excited to take on this new journey of parenthood.”
“The baby looks healthy,” Gypsy added with a smile on her face. “I know it’s still going to be a long journey ahead, but I’m up for it.”
“I know there are going to be people who feel I’m not ready to be a mother,” Blanchard continued. “I don’t know if anyone’s really ready to become a mother.”
Blanchard detailed how the first 11 weeks of pregnancy has been, saying that she’s experienced a lot of pregnancy symptoms so far including cravings for orange juice and an “insatiable hunger.”
She also revealed how sorry she felt for Ken while dealing with “crazy mood swings.” “Poor Ken,” Blanchard admitted, “if he breathes wrong,” she admits it gets under her skin.
All in all, Gypsy Rose said she’s grateful she’s had a fairly smooth introduction to pregnancy so far, admitting that she’s felt a “shift” in herself.
“When I found out I was pregnant, none of anything else mattered.”
