There are some mixtures that definitely go together, like ice tea and lemonade, or cake and ice cream, but smoking while you’re pregnant is not one of those things that makes a great combination. On top of it being just a horrible idea, it presents a host of other problems that could alter your life and your child’s life in an exceptionally negative way.

Any other manma’s have severe breathing problems while pregnant? I don’t have asthma or breathing problems and I was sent to the ER by my OB/GYN on Wednesday because of it. They found absolutely nothing wrong but but oxygen levels were low (~70%) and my fingers turned blue under the nails. They got it back to normal and ran all kinds of tests and even did chest x-rays to see and my lungs and airways are clear. I’m having problems again (I was fine and feeling normal after oxygen was given on Wednesday night up until Saturday) and they keep saying its nothing just a big baby pushing on my diaphragm and to relax, but even relaxing doesn’t help. Doesn’t matter how I sit or lay down (on my side, elevated or reclined) I’m still having problems. I’ve tried wearing a belly band and using pillows and still nothing helps. Idk what else to do and I called the after hours at my Drs (As they are closed on weekends plus she’s on vacation) and the Dr that was on call was useless and told me to go to the ER again which I did (luckily didn’t need oxygen that …

I am currently 26 weeks and 1 days pregnant. At 22 weeks I was diagnosed with vasa placenta previa. My doctors are watching me closely and I’m currently on pelvic rest until I have our baby. I’m scared to death of this whole situation and would like to hear positive stories from other moms whom have dealt with this. Thank you so much!‚ù§Ô∏è Anonymous Community MemberThis question was asked by a Facebook community member who has asked to remain anonymous.
My cousin had her tubes tied almost 2.5yr ago and now is pregnant with twins. I was under the impression if you got pregnant with your tubes tied you were concerned high risk pregnancy.. I got my info from my Dr when I had mine tied. Her Dr told her she wouldn’t be concerned high risk and hasn’t done any testing or ultrasounds yet and and she’s almost 5months. I’ve tried telling her to get a second opinion. Anonymous Community MemberThis question was asked by a Facebook community member who has asked to remain anonymous.
Has anyone had an ectopic pregnancy before? If so, how was your experience? Did it go away on it’s own? Did you have surgery? Did it rupture and had to have emergency surgery? My doctor believes I have an ectopic pregnancy. I found out I was pregnant December 10th – I was actually scheduled for tubal ligation on Dec. 11th so that had to be postponed. My doctor checked me and said I had a little bit of bleeding that day – to keep an eye out. I ended up bleeding that whole week with mild cramping. Turns out I had a miscarriage. Went in on Monday for a follow up, my HCG levels dropped significantly to 145 from 2780. My doctor did an ultrasound and found a “stretch” near my right ovary of which he firmly believes it may be a tubal pregnancy. He sent me to another specialist to take a look, they did blood work on Monday and my HCG dropped from 145 to 61, they all said it’s a good thing. I just got back from another follow up and my HCG dropped to 50. The doctor believes if it’s a tubal pregnancy that it is …
