Georgia Senate Candidate Herschel Walker Faces New Criticism From Son, Christian Walker

Former NFL running back and current Georgia Senate candidate, Herschel Walker, is facing a flurry of criticism and backlash from his son, Christian Walker, on social media. It all began on Monday, October 3rd when Christian published a series of tweets accusing his father of abuse.

In a response to his father touting ‘family values’ during his campaign, Christian couldn’t keep quiet. “You’re not a ‘family man,’ when you left us to bang a bunch of women, threatened to kill us, and had us move over 6 times in 6 months running from your violence,” he said on Twitter.

He called his father a liar on multiple occasions, noting that he and his mother “would really appreciate if my father Herschel Walker stopped lying and making a mockery of us.” He added that most of his family wasn’t on board with Herschel Walker running for office, given his past.

On Tuesday, the social media blitz continued as Christian Walker published two videos on Twitter – totaling more than four minutes. “[Herschel] has four kids, four different women, wasn’t in the house raising one of them. He was out having sex with other women,” said Christian.

He also pointed to a story that Herschel Walker once paid his girlfriend to have an abortion – an accusation that has real evidence and receipts. While Herschel has denied the accusation, his son isn’t buying it and is noticeably livid at the fact that his father continues to deny and lie.

“I was silent, lie, after lie, after lie. The abortion part drops yesterday, it’s literally his handwriting in the card, they say they have receipts, whatever. He gets on Twitter, he lies about it. OK, I’m done. Done. Everything has been a lie,” said Christian in one of his Twitter videos on Tuesday.

In the initial report, which was published by The Daily Beast, an unidentified woman provided images of the abortion receipt, a check from Herschel Walker, and a sympathy card. Despite the evidence, Herschel is doubling down and continuing his fight for a seat in the Georgia Senate.

Herschel Walker in a Tight Race in Georgia

Herschel Walker finds himself in a tight race in Georgia with Democratic incumbent Senator Raphael Warnock. Unfortunately for the former running back, his son’s attack on social media has resulted in a dip in polls – putting his opportunity at winning a seat in the Senate in jeopardy.

Walker, who is backed by former President Donald Trump, was expected to be the GOP’s best chance at gaining a majority in the Senate. With the latest developments, allegations, and accusations, the GOP might have to search elsewhere for that extra seat, at least for now.

Prior to running for office, Walker was appointed to the President’s Council on Sports, Fitness, and Nutrition by Trump. He served a two-year term starting in 2018 and a second two-year term starting in 2020. Walker also had a history of endorsing Republican candidates since 2014.

After an incredible college football career at the University of Georgia, Walker played 12 years in the NFL. He accumulated 8,225 rushing yards, 4,859 receiving yards, and 82 total touchdowns – including a career-high 2,019 yards from scrimmage during a Pro Bowl year in 1988.

We don’t know what the future holds for Herschel Walker, but it appears his son Christian isn’t going to let up in his fight to tarnish his father’s image. And if the accusations made against him are true, then it’s all for good reason – after all, we can’t have men like that in the Senate.
