Hilary Duff Thought She Would Get Pregnant The First Time She Had Sex

Hilary Duff dished about her teenage misconceptions surrounding sex on an episode of “Lady Parts.” The actress dished with actresses Sarah Hyland and Ashley Benson, admitting that she thought that having sex instantly resulted in pregnancy.

“Oh my God, well, I thought the first time you have sex you’re going to get pregnant,” shared Duff.

The expecting star went on to say that she was never taught that sex could be a positive thing. “I never got taught that it was about feeling good and connecting with someone,” said Hilary. “I think as a young girl you get taught, ‘Well, you want the guy to feel good’ or something, and that’s really a terrible mentality to go into starting to have sex with.”

The mama of two added that she didn’t relate to the representations of sex she grew up watching on television. “[And the] way the girl reacts on TV, you’re like, ‘I didn’t have that experience. I didn’t react like that. That didn’t feel like that for me.'”
