It’s hard enough being pregnant under normal circumstances, but Hilary Duff recently had to deal with next level complications while pregnant with her third child. After being exposed to someone who tested positive with COVID-19, Duff had to quarantine solo for 14 days.
Thankfully, the Younger actress was able to reunite with her family before Thanksgiving.

On Tuesday, November 24, the actress shared a sweet photo of herself cuddled up with her two children, Luca Cruz Comrie (who she shares with ex Mike Comrie) and Banks Violet Bair (who she shares with husband Matthew Koma).
The Lizzie McGuire star captioned the photo with a tongue-in-cheek nod to her quarantine status: “NOT TOTALLY IN THE CLEAR BUT LOOKING POSITIVE AND BY THAT I MEAN NEGATIVE.”
Duff shared a follow-up photo reunited with Luca, Banks and Matthew posing in front of the Manhattan skyline. “Happy Thanksgiving! 1 or 2 celebrations away from getting out of 2020,” she wrote.
Before reuniting with her two children, Duff had taken a rapid COVID test, which share shared on Instagram Story.
After being exposed to someone with COVID-19 earlier in the month, Duff took the extra precautionary step of quarantining in her basement. The family has been able to communicate with Morse code floor stomps and sweet treats left by her door.
“My sweet family was leaving so many sweet treats outside my door. I finally threatened to run upstairs….break quarantine and breathe all over them so they have to have me back,” she wrote on Instagram.
Thankfully, it sounds like Duff and her family are safe and sound, just in time for the holidays.
