Sara Lee’s husband is speaking out for the first time since the news of her unexpected death rocked the world of WWE wrestling.

Sara’s husband, Westin Blake, took to Instagram to share an open letter to his beloved wife and the mother of his three children. “Dear Sara,” he began, “I loved you from the first moment I saw you. I would always say that you were an angel walking on this earth.”

“Beautiful, compassionate, strong and so loving. An angel that blessed me with 3 of the most beautiful children I could imagine. But you were soo much more than just mom,” Westin continued.

“You were a motivator, a best friend, a sister, a daughter, an aunt, the back bone of our family, and (my favorite), my wife. I really don’t know what to say in these uncertain times. I just know that death can’t take away the memories we made. I can’t promise that I will stop grieving but I know now, that you’re free. I can’t thank you enough for giving me the best years of my life so far.”

Sara’s cause of death is still unknown to the public. As Mamas Uncut previously reported, the news of her death sent shock waves through the WWE community when they learned about the tragic death of one of their raising stars.

In a heartbreaking Facebook post shared by her mother, Terri Lee, it was revealed that Sara Lee, also known as Sara Weston, passed away. Sara Lee was just 30 years old at the time of her passing.

“It is with heavy hearts we wanted to share that our Sara Weston has gone to be with Jesus,” Terri began her post. “We are all in shock and arrangements are not complete.”

“We ask that you respectfully let our family mourn. We all need prayers especially [her husband] Cory and her children.” Cory and Sara, who have been married since 2017, share three young children together.

Sara’s cause of death was not immediately known. Sara was currently in her one-year contract with the WWE after she won season 6 of Tough Enough.

While Sara’s mom did not reveal what caused Sara’s seemingly unexpected passing, the professional wrestler revealed earlier this week on Instagram that she was dealing with a sinus infection.

Just two days ago, Sara shared a picture of herself at her gym. She wrote that she was “celebrating finally being healthy enough to go to the gym two days in a row.” She further revealed that she had been battling her first-ever sinus infection and it “kicked her butt.”

People have been offering their condolences in the comments section of her final Instagram post. “Rest In Peace Beautiful, taken from us way too soon,” one commenter wrote. “Fly high, Sara,” another added.

Fellow WWE wrestler Bull James created a GoFundMe campaign to help raise money for Cory (her husband’s legal name) and their 3 kiddos. “We’re all shocked and saddened by the sudden death of Tough Enough winner Sara Lee. As her loving husband, Cory, picks up the pieces and continues to raise their 3 children, the last thing anyone in that position wants to be worried about is money and paying for a funeral and everything else that comes along with it.”

So far, the campaign has raised more than $50,000. “The wrestling community has always been one to come together in the wake of tragedy and this is no different,” James continued. “Every penny raised from this will go directly to Cory and the kids. Thank you all in advance. RIP Sara, you were one of the good ones.”
