I feel sad after giving birth: Advice?

Hey guys, so I just had my daughter, and she turned a month old yesterday. She is so beautiful and perfect, and I cannot believe how blessed I am. But I am not going to lie; I am struggling. I am feeling worthless, sad, ugly, and down lately. I feel horrible for feeling this way because I am so blessed to have such a wonderful blessing. Is this just my emotions and hormones? What should I do?

  1. Get to a doctor for postpartum depression. They can give you something to help you with this. I suffered with this when they didn’t know a lot about it. It was awful! Please get help before it gets worse.

  2. Oh hunny it will be ok. I’ve been there after each kid. Just give yourself little reasons to smile every day and make sure to tell your self you are doing great. If you need anything message me. I’m on kid #6.

  3. Postpartum. So sorry u feel that way. My daughter was the same way. She cried the first few weeks. Even got frustrated trying to breastfeed. See your dr. And remember you’re not alone , many experience it. It will pass. Congratulations on your new precious little one!????

  4. Talk to your doctor. You don’t have to feel like this. It isn’t your fault. Being a new mom is hard af, and you’re body is telling you you need some help. You deserve help, you don’t have to do this alone, and you deserve to be healthy and happy. Reach out and find some help so you can have the life you deserve.

  5. Pleeeease talk to your doctor. Let them know how you’re feeling. I had a terrible bought of PPD with my second son and my doctor was there for me every step of the way.
