Ilana Glazer and husband David Rooklin are pregnant with their very first baby!
The “Broad City” star revealed she is expecting her first child while promoting her upcoming horror film “False Positive.”
The film is centered around a woman and her partner undergoing IVF treatments from hell.
“This was not supposed to happen this way, but it’s just so eerie and cosmically funny that it has,” the 33-year-old told Entertainment Weekly.
She added, “I’m lucky; I’m in control, unlike our protagonist. I don’t feel like I’m having the rug pulled out from under me in any way.”

Glazer and Rooklin first met back in 2012 and quietly married at City Hall in 2017.
And while this is their first baby, the couple has plenty of friends who are parents to lean into.
“I’m not afraid to ask a billion questions,” she revealed.

“There are certain trends in society of how pregnancy should look — the ‘shoulda coulda wouldas’ that are put on women all the time but are so amplified in pregnancy. I’m specifically seeking out the most spiritually healthy and welcoming experience.”
And while Glazer did not say just how far along she is, she did add how much she misses “sharing [my pregnancy] through stand-up” since the coronavirus pandemic began.
“The process of birth is so traumatic and painful, and yet it’s the most miraculous, surreal, real thing. It’s like this perfect canvas for the paradox that is our country.”
