James Charles is in hot water after poking fun at pregnancy and people are fuming.
Including, Halsey. Yea — I know, right?!
Charles posted a TikTok as well as Instagram of him doing a pregnancy photoshoot and not so surprisingly — it was for a video titled: “24 Hours Being Pregnant.”
Many were quick to point out just how many struggle with getting pregnant each year.
“To pretend to be pregnant when there is women who cannot” one user tweeted.

While another said: “This is bull! I’m 35 with medical issues & a guy thinks it’s funny to see what it’s like?! Wish I knew what it was like!”
Others referenced Halsey, who has endometriosis, and her pregnancy photo shoot.
One user defended Halsey, stating: “halsey literally had endometriosis. for him or his team to say ‘very halsey’ while he’s taking FAKE pregnancy photos is f****** disgusting and it mocks everything that she’s been through.”
And we should note Halsey did unfollow James on Instagram shortly after he posted the series of pics (ahem, please see above.)
James was quick to calm the backlash and shared the following explanation in his video: “This video is not being made in any way, shape, or form to make fun of or make light of pregnancies and the sensitivities and the complications that come around it. It’s obviously such a beautiful, beautiful thing that women go through with their bodies. It takes a whole lot of strength as well.”
